Sometimes the confident heart that we should have because of our identity in Christ, as his daughter, falters and stumbles. Truth is we have a Bible full of promises that testify to our identity in Christ and the work he is doing in us. I just finished reading A Confident Heart by Renee Swope and she has put a list together of promises to combat each of the feelings that threaten to derail our walk with and growth in the Lord. A complete list is in the last chapter of her book, but she offers a list of promises to personalize on her website.
Today, I am battling the doubt that says I’ll never change because my words have gotten away from me again.
Truth is: God say’s he’s transforming me:
I will be holding on to and praying this promise while claiming it as a daughter of the King today!
