Walking with God incorporates all aspects of being a Christian. It involves having a healthy prayer life. Actively cultivating a habit of reading and studying scripture is essential. However, the outward proof of our relationship with the Lord is in our actions and heart attitude. Our testimony is strengthened when our responses to life’s trials draw us closer to the Lord and cause us to humbly submit to his sovereignty. Our walk with God will be visible to others then.
I have learned over the years that this is developed through trials and struggles. The posts I write here are pieces to my personal story. God has brought me through many dark years life as a wife and a mom. There has been lots of refining fire. However, the close walk with the Lord that has resulted made it all worth it. I pray that my story will encourage you and spur you on in your journey. If you find yourself in tough times, I hope you find strength in knowing you are not alone and God will see you through.
