Inspired by the love chapter, I took a little liberty with 1 Corinthians 13 and played with the words to find out what love is. It is written with a mix of “love is” and “love is not” verbs and I got curious. If “love is not” then what is it, exactly? Here’s what I dug up and I hope it encrouages you. Patient, Kind, Content (does not envy), Temperate (does not boast), Humble (is not proud), Polite (it is not rude), Selfless (not self-seeking), Joyful (not easily angered), Forgiving (keeps no record of wrongs), Rejoices in the Truth (does not delight in evil), Protects, Trusts, Hopes, Perseveres, Unending (it never fails)
