Do you get caught up in fear, doubt, and insecurity in this me-focused world we live in? Our Facebook feeds are filled with hate. They remind us of all the things we don’t have and make us think about what could go wrong. It can be hard to stay positive and keep our focus on the Lord sometimes. When Life Well Inspired was in the beginning stages, God gave me a verse on encouraging others.
Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
1 Thessalonians 5:11
That verse became the purpose for the blog. I do my best to encourage whoever reads my words to walk closer with the Lord. That is the way to develop a deeper relationship with Him. We don’t need help with our thoughts and emotions spiraling out of control down a not-so-healthy path. To have someone or people to help pull us up and keep our minds on the Lord is a great blessing.
Announcing: Women Living Life Well Inspired!
That is exactly why I have started a Facebook group for subscribers to Life Well Inspired. Consider this your personal invitation to join me and bring some positivity to your Facebook feed! We are all on Facebook anyway so we might as well have it help us rather than hurt us, right?
The antidote to the negativity, fear, doubt, and insecurity is keeping our eyes on Jesus. The closer we walk with Him the less pull the world has on us. And when we can rest in God’s Sovereignty and His goodness it revolutionizes our outlook, stabilizes our mood and evens out the emotional roller coaster we sometimes get on.
My prayer is that this group lives out 1 Thessalonians 5:1. I hope it becomes a safe place for perspective and encouragement when we need a leg up on this journey we call life. Together we can build each other up and keep our focus on Jesus.
In November I will be running a series on thankfulness. When we are worn out, beat down and in need of renewal, it is hard to be thankful. After the chaos, heartache and uncertainty of 2020 it isn’t crazy for us to be in a not so good emotional state as we head into this holiday season. There will be posts published on the blog to help refresh our perspective. I will also be prompting discussion, posting bible verses and other things to help us get our hearts to a thankful place as we move through November.
So will you join me? All you need is the email address that this email was delivered to!
